We had gone to bed at 12:00 pm, unexpectedly my wife was in the mood and we or at least I had fun. I looked the clock and it was only 1:20 earlier than if we had closed the bar, I could not have been happier. I was going to have a good nights sleep, perfect. I fell asleep and then at 1:50 I woke up. Wide awake, as if I had had a full nights sleep what was I going to do now and the panic set in, My wife and I had decided to each have 4 drinks 200 ml, we consumed them in one hour I’m sure I set the pace. But now I’m pacing the living room, unable to sit for even a minute, I keep telling myself close your eyes for a minute you’ll sleep, then I tell myself who cares you’ll be fine tomorrow and even without sleep you’ll be in better shape than if you got drunk. Nope I can’t sit still, then I remember I have a bottle of Whisky, I tell myself to ignore, it even without sleep you’ll be in better shape than if you got drunk But now I’m pacing the living room, unable to sit for even a minute, I pour myself a double at 5:00am and immediately pour the remainder down the drain. Turns out to be a god send, I’m calm, I go to bed at 5:40 and last to 6:40 when I begin to wrote this. It’s 7:10 Good night.
Turns out that drink only calmed me down for an hour. It’s 7:20 and I’m back. Not exactly a solution, but I swear it seams as if it saved me from going out of my mind.
I had taken the week between Christmas and new years off so we had been drinking for 10 days. We decided to stop after New Years Eve. I panicked and took a sleeping pill at 12 then another What a mess, couldn’t stand would have been better off hungover.
Jan 4 had 5 beers so this wouldn’t happen, cant sleep shaking
