Krieger....Congratulations of your upcoming birthday....Sept. 5th. The first 30 days are so thrilling. For me, after 40+ years of heavy drinking, THIS is the longest I have ever been AF...6 months on Sept. 8th. I still wake up with the thought..."Geez, I'm not hungover"..."Thank you God for one more day of sobriety." Good side effects of AF...I've lost 12 pounds in 6 mo....haven't had a temper fit PERIOD....just am happy to be alive. If I fail and go back drinking, I will always cherish this period of feeling great. Nunewf...are you still out there? Remember you have a couple of guys cheering for you...as we cheer ourself along too. Paul
