Have read the book but never done anything wholeheartedly about my drinking. Found this site tonight quite by accident as I googled Kudzu. It's so good to read the posts and to know that so much of how I feel is not unique to me. It's a lonely place to be when you know that you are drinking to much. I go to bed each night promising myself tomorrow I won't drink but I do.
I will re read the book and get the CD's as so many of you seem to really rate the effect they have . I have just got to get my life and health back in order before I spoil all the good things I have, job, home, friends etc.

Welcome hopeful! I know all too well the viscious circle of daily drinking, feeling like utter crap about it, making self promises to stop tomorrow, not doing that, repeat. Did that for many many years. It will take whole hearted effort, as it seems you already know. But YOU CAN DO IT.
