Thank you all. You all are the best. I am, as always, a work in progress. I realized through cognitive counseling this week that I avoid emotions at all costs. My counselor is trying very hard to get me to deal with feelings in my childhood to be able to overcome them and be a better functioning adult. Basically to get over my "life traps" and move on to the happier, better me.
The support my friends have shown me here, no doubt, has helped me along this journey. You have provided me a safe place to be able to talk about those emotions without ridicule or judgement. A very new path for me.

You don't even know how much I love and respect you, sweetie. You have A LOT on your plate. It doesnt' take much in life to throw you over the deep end in drinking.

You are doing well recognizing your problems..... I don't care what anyone says. It is the admission of having a problem that will send you into recovery - when you are absolutely ready. Self awareness is huge with addiction.

I love you tons. I hope to meet up with you and the other gals some day for another meet up.

            XOXO and big hugs.
