enjoyed seeing this again

have read this before in the past - and especially find this passage compelling:

"When you?re with me, you?ll feel warm and secure. I will ease your mind, soothe away your troubles, and fill your soul with pleasure. With me, you?ll feel as if you can conquer the world, as if you have a special key to happiness. You?ll enjoy living again. I?ll be the answer to your unspoken prayers. You?ll enjoy living again. You?ll soon wonder how you ever lived without me."

The DRINK (and other addictions) draw us toward it by offering our highest desires: love, security, power, happines, wholeness! No wonder we turn to it -- but then it turns on us.

I'm having trouble writing my story too, Blu. Might just have to do it in broadstrokes for now, and fill in the blanks later.
