    :l Tips

Yours is quite a story and I'm so very sorry that you actually had to live through all of that. I commend you for taking heart now and I wish you utter success.

Cherish that wife of yours, your children - and yourself.

      Tigger,

I can relate to never feeling loved as a child. You are no weak man. In fact, you are a lucky man to have such a wonderful wife and partner in life now. Your AF life is your new beginning.

Everything I need is within me!

I know the hardest part of the journey still lies ahead, but I'm proud of myself to have made a start.
Hi Tip, thank you for sharing your story with us all. I can understand how hard that was for you and how much courage that it must have taken to bear your soul.
I was delighted when I saw the last few lines of your story, I think you have nailed it right there.
You are right to feel very proud, you are a fine man, my friend.

I got a tear in my eye too, when I read through all your reponses! Thank you to all who read my story and posted their messages. I'm glad I decided to do it - it has helped me to start paving the way forward, instead of wallowing in my past.

Today, I am 10 days AF, and things are looking good. I am optimistic about the future.

The biggest enemy will be complacency, and I will guard against it going forward. So expect to see lots more of me in the weeks and months to come. I couldn't have done it without the good friends I have made here.
