I finally made 5 days, then blew it. Not feeling that great right now, but will start again tomorrow, taking it ODAT again in the hope that my brain will keep working this time.

This describes me to a T. I just joined yesterday. Can't see my doctor until I have the booze out of my system. If it turns out I have liver damage, I'm not eligible for treatment if it's alcohol related and my insurance could cancel me. Yes, I know, they're not supposed to do that, but that doesn't stop them ...

Thats really unfair, so they will only insure you if you're well or have a socially acceptable disease, very useful.
Being here on MWO has helped me, I'm not there yet, but I'm trying harder than I have in the last 20 years to get sober. Welcome, and I hope this works for you. Stay in touch and good luck.
