    A confession....

    Bad day...oh well i slipped up today..I was looking for a nail in this closet..it is full of stuff, tools..cleaning supplies..rags..etc...very cluttered... and while pulling stuff out i found a sippy cup..the kind ya take to the gym. It was half full of red wine..i wasnt sure at first and opened it to smell and yep wine..I musta stashed it there while i was buzzed cuz I know for sure I got all the AL outa my house..at least any that was in a bottle..or box...well Im on the second glass...added 7up and ice..but definately got a little buzz. Ive decided Im not gonna beat myself up...I dont wanna do the feeling GUILTY (I dispise that emotion) or beat myself up about this I know I shoulda threw it out, too late now...so there's my confession..I feel better telling someone....the HUBBY is at work...he'll be home about 3hrs from now...cant decide if I'll tell him...he'll probably
    be super disappointed..krappyy krap krappp I think I already have a headache....... sorry Ive let you down friends I better go throw the little bit left out.

    Here's my alcoholic brain's take on it...I wasn't looking for booze had no idea it was there...at first I just took a sip..I didnt want to waste it..throw it down the drain..and last of all there isnt enuf to get totally bombed...

    throw it out and forgive yourself........drink some water...and forgive yourself....wash your face....and forgive yourself

          The cup has been taken..and I thank you for your prayers...eating, drinking lots of water, diet soda, eating homemade turkey chili...thank you...feeling much better...

            Sisley - you are doing absolutely excellently. I would have drank it and then raced to the bs for more. Well done.

              well done for acknowledging your slip.. and for putting some soda in it. i found half a bottle of hidden red wine yesterday and poured into a lovely stew i was making. cant really reccomend this as stew is now purple and not looking very appetising. dreading finding more hidden stash cos i cant remember all my secret drunk places.
              Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine
              Keep passing the open windows

                :H:H on the hidden stashes.

                Not sure if we have to get drunk to find them all or not.

                Hubby has figured out all my stashes.

                He even found the bottle of mouthwash that was somehow vodka...

                Take all hidden stashes you find and pour them out.

                I have done that.

                You can do that if I can do that. I am a real drunk. If I can, you can.

                No joking here. Do you want to be sober?? Throw them away.

                    Lol - purple stew! reminds me of bridget jones diary where the soup ends up blue from the blue string!
                    Definately forgive yourself sisley.. at least you are aware of what you are doing, and came on here and admitted it - so well done!
                    I dont have any secret stashes anymore.. i used to 'store' (hide..) vodka in one of my unused handbags in my wardrobe.. my ex hubby never found it.. i also hid bottles of wine in the bushes outside our home which I would go and retrieve after my hubby left the house!
                    thank god those days are over.. im honest with myself now - lying to yourself is worse than lying to anyone else..

                      hey the purple stew actually tasted quite yummy. definately better than if the wine had gone down my throat. i had a great hiding place... in with the cleaning stuff. not a chance he would have been in there. funny i really cant remember where i may have put stuff. think AL was very secretive and knew where to put it
