    Not Really a Newbie

Hi everyone. I'm not really a newbie here because I used to visit this site a lot about a year ago. Then I pushed it aside, ignored the fact that I have a drinking problem, and continued to drink. I used to take a break from drinking during the week. I could go 3-4 days AF. Lately, it's a bottle of wine every day. I am so tired of me. I decided it was time to face my demons again and start fighting the fight towards an alcohol free life. It feels good just to lay it out there. I can't talk about this to anyone else. I read through the Toolbox thread and that gave me some hope. Thanks for being here and sharing your stories and advice.

      Not Really a Newbie

Hi Julie and MB. Day 2 for me.. I also share a bit of your past Julie, I came across this forum years ago and got 53 days AF, then I had just one drink and I have'nt been able to go more than 4 days. I am sick of me too. I don't have anyone to talk to about this either, I really don't believe anyone understands the strength of the cravings except for those of us who have experienced them, or the darkness ones feels for days afterward. I hope we can move together....
