Hello Mr. President,
I am a student at Malcolm X College in Chicago, IL. I am trying my hardest to make it somewhere with my life and do the best I can but somehow Chicago officers, aldermen; basically anyone with authority are abusing their power. My only sister was attacked, harassed and arrested by Chicago Police on June 26th, 2011 at the Chicago Pride Parade. She is a lesbian that feels more comfortable in baggy, men clothing. She was bruised and banged up after her bond release. Norwegian Hospital, our primary insurance, did not want to help her. I do not know what else to do or how to continue respecting the authorities. Please hear my cry, I do not want no money or sympathy, I just do not want this to happen to the next person.
