I came to read as well, and was deeply moved. Wow. Did you ever get closure with your parents? I also had a loveless childhood, so i relate to your story. Honestly, looking back we should have been put into foster care. Youve done well.

It's really amazing even tho many of us come from different backgrounds, economically, educationally, geographically, faiths, no faiths, we've all traveled this road of addiction, pain, loss. Some of us have traveled further. Now were just wanting to help ea other, to grow beyond this pain, to let go, to become healthy, to become what we were meant to be.

We can see how others have overcome, made it to the other side. Walked that old traveled & worn out road, traded it for a new one. We know it will take work, but it can't be any harder from where we've already traveled. We can all do it together! May your next sequel, also be a best seller. The New Road & How I Found My Way Out

I'm also sorry, that you grew up in a loveless home, with lies, imo. Do your best to make the one you live in now as loving as you can. Thank you for sharing your story LG. Your honesty, your voice, provide strength. :l
