For the first time in YEARS....
I was able to pick up my teenaged Son up from work because I am sober (winter driving and all).AF Since July 27, 2012:jumpin:

The more you get sober the more good things that you thought were gone forever will come back in to play, well done Can too.

That's great Canny!! I know it must feel so good to be needed and able to do the right thing. I had a terrible memory this morning when I woke up of telling my mother (my poor mother!) that she couldn't stay with us when my father was in the hospital in my town, years ago, because of my dogs (they would bark at her I said, for god's sake) because I didn't want to miss ONE night of drinking/getting wasted. How pathetic. I am so ashamed.
Thank God you are now able to be there for your son. It's the little things that mean so much!!

Fantastic Cantoo :-)
I felt like that a few weeks ago when I dropped my kids off at the school disco sober - and someone walked past me and I could smell AL on their breath and I was like " how could they ?" - forgetting all the times I'd done the same !!!
Well done xTrying again from 22nd September 2014 Keeping it simple. Keeping it real.
