Now I feel guilty for the advice I gave. I just now logged on and read since I posted that. I too hold high my religious beliefs and often feel so guilty for being out of control with this struggle. When I took that pill was after my first husband left me and I was single. I promised myself I would not get "entangled" with another man until I knew he was right. Well... I drank too much one night, and guess what? So much happened that I didnt remember and it was ripe time of the month, arggh. It was the only time something like that ever happened, so I had two evils to weigh. The crime of the night before, or the crime of the "morning after". I chose the morning after. Your situation is much different.

Interesting thread...sex and alcohol....
I was promiscuous when I was young (20's) because I had such low self esteem (father problem) & drank to not feel quilty about it. But grew myself out of that one...

So for sure not all women currently with drinking problems have sex problems-- with their husbands -- or with others -- on this board or out. It is almost a separate problem.

People with the same problem attract others with the same problem and support each other and talk about it. drunkinsally was only responding ...

I'm with Cassy, talk to God today like you talk to us, he is sitting on your sofa patting the cushion and saying hey come sit by me. You will feel better about things after you do. I know I do.

We've all been there with you and like someone posted before some of us have taken chances and not had consequences to deal with. However children are a blessing not a punishment so if it comes to that you can be forced into AF for 9 months and maybe kick it for good, and, if not, maybe you really really learned something this time.
