I think probably a lot of us have a history of depression/anxiety and that is why we relate to each other so well.

also, I am really aware of the unrealistically negative thinking cycles alluded to by starlight.

I feel a bit better now....

Starlight and Nancy,
Just wanted to say thanks for sharing, both your stories and your input. You are two of my favorite posters and I always read w/ interest what you post.
Nancy, I especially admire what an avid reader you are, I am a big fan of the self help section myself, however, many times I buy them and never finish them. I am enjoying The Miracle Method and have been meaning to PM you to ask your thoughts on it.

know the feeling nancy as I sit here in a pile of do do. havent had a drink in a couple of months do not feel any better, in trouble for a dui I feel helpless hopeless and really wish i were dead now
