That is why it is important for you to go to Al Anon as Cinders adviced. You will learn about this awful disease and how you can recover from its effects. Please be gentle with yourself assess the situation and consider your options. Do not wait for your partner to change, focus on yourself and the part you can play in making the situation a better one. There is book 'Getting them Sober' part 1 by Toby Rice Drew that is quite good, it really is all about you and what/ what not to do. Please look after yourself.
