Hi I am new to this and will need to be quick before husband gets home.
I have a husband with drinking problems and two little children, his drinking is just really starting to put a strain on the whole family. I just dont know what to do, I would love to chat to any other mums in this situation

I am the mom and the drinker here but I grew up with a dad that drank-badly.
Im not sure how old your kids are but my mom always told us he was sick, when we got older that it was a disease and it was just the way it was. It sucked but we all (5 girls)
never hid the truth- just told our friends etc... Better to be honest-

My advice to you is to talk with him about this and if that does not work try getting family members involved to help him look at his problem. It might wake him up.
