Musical Mystery Train...

My mum used to play the pipe organ and my entire childhood was full of memorable performances like the Toccata & lots of other awesome (often churchy) stuff. Also with the piano at home as she was a music teacher. I was the page turner. She not only played all those keyboards & stops but I think 3 sets of foot keyboards as well with special slippers... it was really something to see her go.. and entirely different of course sitting in different positions all over empty churches. I still drive past her fave church every day. She was still having lessons right up to the day she became incapacitated before she died. Ah she was a love.. thanks for the reminder
Oh gosh.. and we sang in church choirs Tawns.. (separately of course) stuff much like the Tallis tune only probably not so sublimely performed
