Thank you startingover. The song is so ethereal and inspiring to me. Not coincidentally, this song came out in '94, which was the last time that I stopped my heavy drinking.
I recently rediscovered it, which I believe is no coincidence. The lyrics about walking a long and crooked path, come my restoration; wash my body clean, I will embrace the sun upon my face, I will not miss the blind man I leave behind, and other such lyrics in the song apply so much to us alcoholics, as these are the things that we all seek.
He also is a bass player, which is my preferred instrument so I'm a little partial, lol...
