Hello dear friends

Here I will post some of my favourites for your enjoyment (hopefully!)

I like everything from electronica of all sorts, to classical, via dub reggae, indie, and rock, to George Formby! My favourite bands ever are probably Pixies, Coldplay and Massive Attack.

In memory of that late, great entertainer, here's a lovely ukulele version of one of my all-time favourite songs that I discovered just yesterday, 'Just Like Heaven' by The Cure:

One of my favourite ever songs. I was there too, I think you can spot my head at one or two points in the vid, but aware that the gig was being filmed live for TV I hid at the back for most of it!

Until the confetti came down of course, then I was hidden and could really rock out, as I always love to

'I have no doubt that one day the sun will come out'. Indeed my friends, indeed, we must never forget that.

Probably my favourite song ever, for reasons that would need a thread on their own :H

A long story short: the first non-pop song I ever fell in love with at the tender age of 13, which led me on all my subsequent adventures into alternative music. My first gig followed about a year later...a little known or remembered band called The Sugarcubes, in the dingy old Town and Country Club in Kentish Town, London. The singer later found a bit of success as a solo artist - Bjork.

I still think this's one of the greatest songs ever written. I had good taste, even then, hehe!
