    The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

    If you are looking for an easy read, I recommend The Glass Castle. I couldn't put this book down! The author shares her story of growing up in poverty with a father that drank too much. Her tales are so entertaining it keeps the reader from becoming depressed over her sad childhood. One of the best memoirs I have read.

        This is terribly sad, but beautiful. The human ability to rise above your circumstance. Amazing. It is a very good read

          I agree, this book is a page turner. In the end, it is a book or hope, not to mention a rivoting story!!!

              I am listening to this now on CD and enjoying it tremendously. It is amazing the strength of this girl's spirit. The timing of this book could not be better for me personally!
