My brother bought me this book for my birthday (knowing of my own hell with addiction I presume!!lol).
I've only just started my head back in reading mode tbh and have not had the time I would like to read more than the first 6 chapters (about 1/3rd of the book). But I've related to so much of the behavioral patterns in his story to my own. Definitely a good read for anyone who considers themselves an addict.
"A totally convincing and gripping account of the highs and lows of stardom. Although written chronologically this is more than another diary of a rock and roll band. Kiedis comes across at times as a man who has everything and nothing and his battle with drug addiction which flows through the pages from start to finish is both moving and horrifying. For RHCP fans it's good read, but for anyone who's been touched by addiction - in any form - this is essential."
