    Self-made Man by Norah Vincent

The blurb says: "Disguised as a man called Ned, Norah Vincent embarked on a social experiment to live life as a normal guy. Her witty and compulsively readable memoir tells how she dated women, joined a bowling league, got a job in sales, visited strip bars."

I'm finding it very entertaining. She has interesting observations on male friendship (in the bowling league) compared to female friendship. I'm now on the chapter where she's dating women (as a man) and her view of the way women behave on dates and their attitudes towards men are not flattering (hostile, defensive, self-absorbed etc).
    Very thought-provoking!
