Whew, started this 1,000 page book. I love this author, he previously wrote The Pillars of the Earth (Oney, go back to that thrift store and buy this book!

I love his writing style and his characters. My only complaint about his books are that I need to either strengthen my wrist muscles or buy a book stand to prop them on. LOL
I try to lean it on the dogs, but for some reason they don't like that...? hehe
