    Well.....my copy of Shantaram came in at the library. One small glitch, I accidentally requested it in Spanish! Oops.

    Oh well, I re-requested it...should be here in a couple of weeks. I guess next time I should read the "fine print"....I got overly excited I suppose. LOL

      lol :H:H k9 - it's a long book to be reading in English, not to mind having to get the dictionary out!

      Betty - are you enjoying it? I have it by my bed but have gotten distracted by Deepak Chopra in the meantime...

        I finally got my book, in English! lol
        I started it last night and I am loving it so far...his little sidekick Prabaker is cracking me up!! I am only on page 46 (out of 933) but I can hardly put it down.

            If you can read it without being interupted then it is excellent, but it is very 'heavy' ... xxx

                  I finished Shantaram on Saturday...hmmm, mixed feelings. I almost had to force myself to finish the last few chapters. I was really really into it, but by page 700 or so I felt like I was only reading it "because I've come this far"... anyone else feel that way?
