Books I've read that are now movies/shows

The Help - Just watched the movie last night...daughter and I laughed and cried...it was great!

Sarah's Key - Book was great...will rent the movie soon.

Pillars of the Earth...900 page book, 9 hour mini-series. Took me almost 2 weeks to watch the mini-series and it was SOOO good...was sad when I got down to the last episode. Even having a hard time deleting it from DVR even though it's taking up too much space and I know I wont watch all 9 hours again, just hate to see it go. LOL

Water for Elephants - One of the best books I've ever read. Watched the movie last week and cried at certain parts (cruelty to animals hurts me). Great book/movie.

Books I've read that are now movies/shows

I just saw another preview for a movie called "One Day"...and yep, I read the book.

Just finished a book called The Linen Queen that I randomly picked up at the library and it turned out to be really good.

Will be starting a book called "A Piece of Cake" this weekend, the author is "Cupcake" Brown. I think someone may have mentioned it on another thread. It's a true story of a woman that overcomes poverty, addictions, abuse and ends up being a lawyer.

I have to recommend The Bridges of Madison County. Read the book then watched the film. Both brilliant, especially with Meryll Streep and Clint Eastwood. A real tearjerker

My daughter is ALL about the Hunger Games right now, she read the first book in one day. It's a triology. There was such a long waiting list for those books at the library! I think we were number 68 or something...but they came quickly.
