    The Interventionist

By Joani Gammill [?] (you guys know I'm bad with Author names...lol)

This is an interesting read with lots of good (and bad) stories in it.

Read it, lived it. Reached out to her for help with my brother. She foot back to me right away and was very nice. She said its 4000 for the intervention not including travel and hotel accommodations. Or the cost of the rehab.
She gave me a book to read about how to conduct your own intervention.
Nervous, but I should try right?

Read it a while back and liked it a lot. Ended up giving it to a LADC I was seeing at the time, and never got it back!

I so wish I had that intervention with her. He died only a few months after I contacted her. I let her know what happened and she said there is no way to know if the intervention would have worked. That he was saturated in pills and alcohol. She was very kind to get back to me after she learned of his death and would like to hear more about our story.

          Nursie,

That call may be your greatest gift to yourself for healing... I truly see your connection to her as a wonderful opportunity. Telling your story, especially to someone who understands all the ins and outs already just has to be healing. Telling us your story here has already helped so many people, myself included. Teling your story 'out there' may help so many more, including you...:h

Let us know if you do it. :l
