    Come Closer, by Sara Gran

Delicious scary little novel. I loved it.

    From Amazon:

?What begins as a sly fable about frustrated desire evolves into a genuinely scary novel about possession and insanity. Hypnotic, disturbing, and written with such unerring confidence you believe every word, Come Closer is one of the most precise and graceful pieces of fiction I've read in a long time.?

I'm going to see if the library has this book...it sounds great!

I'm waiting for my Amazon order to arrive so I can replace YET another library book that my dog munched on. I have finally hidden all my library books in the closet...I'm a slow learner. LOL

Can't find it! At first I thought it was by Sara GRUEN (she wrote Water for Elephants), but alas...no. Darn, I'll try to look it up on Amazon.

You need a Kindle. No paper to chew up, lol. You can borrow through the library on your Kindle too.

You might have to get "Come Closer" through ILL. We have it, and we'll loan it to your library. Sara Gran was one of the authors featured at our poetry/fiction festival in 2009.
