Observer by Robert Lanza & Nancy Kress

Hard sci fi, typical of Ms Kress. It does have a lot of short chapters. Perfect for short spells of reading and there is some repetition in describing the main idea. But given the complexity that is not all bad. It is very thought provoking but with enough fiction to keep the story moving. I enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. If you are very technical might qualify as a beach read. If you are not technically inclined probably not. Though there are no equations in the book. Pitched more at the level of a popular magazine science article. Lots of concepts on space, time, and the illusion of reality. F UN. Overall a really good read
Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

This sounds right up my alley! I love sci-fi. Enjoyed the 3Body Problem trilogy recently and also just working my way through the Wool / Silo series. Both are now TV shows as well.
